My mom isn't your typical mom. She's also nice of difficult to store for. So far, for Christmas, I've got her a bottle of wine and a pair of concert tickets (AC/DC tickets). I'll also make her a stocking (with perfume, make-up, bath salts and the like), but I need more ideas. It's only me and her as far as family goes (my dad died 6 years ago...though, they were divorced for about a year before he died) so we go every out. We spend a lot of time together, so a mom daughter day wouldn't be out of the ordinary as we have those every the time. Also, I don't really like to give gift certificates or anything like that. A pal of mine suggested a spa day, but that's not really her. Any suggestions? What would you like?

So She's turning 59 this year bless her heart :P AND i seriously have NO idea what to receive her! I've gotten her jewelry so she has enough of that, I ALWAYS receive her books, i've gotten her probably every massage tool available (i.e. foot bath, back massager, neck pillow). I've gotten her gift cards, but I want to receive her something that means more than just a gift card. She HATES being touched by strangers, so a spa appointment is no good. No lingerie, she's not that nice of lady who likes getting underpants as a birthday gift. I just don't want to receive her anything lame. I've even written her a tune on my guitar before! I'm stumpeddd!!! So i basically want to find a gift for the lady who has it every, and if she doesn't, than she probably didn't want it in the first place. Im thinking about getting her a nice top or something, she just lost a lot of weight, and she's quite proud, so I thought maybe a cute top would be nice, but i'd like some other ideas too! thanks! Oh and I can't afford like ridiculously expensive gifts, because i also have a 1 year anniversary, and a boyfriend's birthday coming up, and funds are limited. But her gift comes first!!!

Voting Question: Is this making plans without me?
My husband had some phone conversations with his brother about their family coming to visit us where we are home-sitting. My husband mentioned that there is a jacuzzi here to them, which is fine, but I thought he was just describing the place. In a later phone call, I heard him say they could use it. That would be fine too except that he didn't mention it to me first and I don't have a bathing suit right now, so I would have to go out of my way to receive one tomorrow (not much time before they arrive over the morning after tomorrow). I told my husband that he needs to run things by me before he mentions them to anyone outside of our marriage, if he runs it by them first and then by me and for some reason I can't participate then I might be left out. It also puts me in an awkward position if they've every agreed to do something and I wasn't first asked if I want to do it. I told him that the basic rules of marriage and common courtesy dictate that we have to both be on the same page (informed, in agreement) before he makes plans with anyone outside of our family. He claimed that mentioning that his brother could go in the spa before asking me if what I thought about the idea is not "making plans" without me. He says I am overreacting. But since the end result is that I have to plan a trip to receive a suit tomorrow (and I don't even know if I have the time or the money) then of course I am going to feel unconsidered, not to mention the added stress of coming up with a suit at the last minute. I don't have a problem with the idea of everyone using the jacuzzi, but his way of going about things is causing unnecessary stress, and I don't feel considered or respected. This is not the first time I have had to deal with this type of problem. He's just not taking me seriously.

I have "glow and steady" by true blue spa at bath and body works. its a gradual self tanner, which also can be used in the sun. SPF 15 I have tanning oils and i have other tanning lotions which will work best in a tanning bed??

I looked around at the green carpet that lined the hall, beautiful artwork lined the walls and big windows spilled light into the room, there was a flight of stairs to the right. “Yeah, so don't break anything,” Dad muttered, coming in behind me. “Shall I show you around?” Asked a voice from behind me. I whirled around and came face to face with an old balding man. He was wearing a tuxedo that looked like something out of a history film. “Yes please,” Mum said stepping inside. The man made his way inside. “I'm Richard,” he said. “Follow me.” We obeyed and followed him down the long hallway. “This home was built in 1863,” he told us. “It is the oldest mansion around this area.” We entered another room. A big window covered one wall, and a table was in the middle of the room. There was a marble fireplace off to the left. “This is the dining room,” Richard announced. “One of the most beautiful rooms in the home, might I add.” We walked through the hallway and I looked around it in awe. It was HUGE! Bigger than our whole home! The next room that Richard (or Jeeves as I had decided to call him) led us into was the kitchen. It was very beautiful with oak cabinets and granite-topped benches, much nicer than our lino covered kitchen back home. “And this is the kitchen,” Jeeves announced. “Very nice and easy to cook in.” “This'll be a nice change,” Mum said happily. Jeeves smiled at her, and continued on. “This is the laundry,” Jeeves said, gesturing into a smaller room. Mum took a quick glance inside. “Very nice.” “Next, we arrive to the office. This could easily become a study,” Jeeves explained. “This is where I'll be working,” Dad announced happily. It was nicer looking than the room he used back at home, which was actually a big walk in wardrobe! A big oak desk stood in the middle and a bookshelf was set off to the left. The room was otherwise empty. Dad stood looking at the room for a while until Jeeves cleared his throat. “Time to move on,” he said. We walked out of the office and back into the hall. “This is one bedroom, that one of your kids may like,” Jeeves said, gesturing into one room. “And this is another.” Both rooms were practically identical, with a double bed in each and a desk. The next room that Jeeves' showed us was the bathroom. It had a big spa, bath, shower and toilet, it was gigantic! We walked a bit further and into the last room on the ground floor of the home. “And this is the master bedroom,” Jeeves said, rather proudly. This room was exquisite. The bed was four post and the biggest I had ever seen in my entire life, it had a white blanket and pillows laced with silver. Three big cabinets and a huge bookshelf lined two of the walls. Windows hit the back of the bed, making the silver on the bed glisten. A flame place like the one in the dining room was to the right of the door. “Now, we head up stairs,” Jeeves said. The first four doors contained bedrooms that were identical to the two downstairs, except they every had big verandas; one though, had a bookshelf. “This is my room!” I announced. “Why?” Thomas asked, wrinkling up his nose. “They're every the same, this one just has a bookshelf.” “Exactly,” I said with a grin. Thomas rolled his eyes and followed Mum, Dad and Jeeves down the upstairs hall. “This is the study,” Jeeves said. “A little smaller than the one downstairs, but this one has a veranda.” This was quite a nice room, with the biggest veranda that I had ever seen! The room was completely empty though, except for a fireplace in the centre of the back wall. “Next to it is the sun room,” Jeeves announced. “Beautiful to sit in in spring.” It was a big room with windows covering every but one wall. I'd like to spend my time in here reading, it'd also be a nice place to keep Sazza during winter. “And the last place up here is the bathroom. This one doesn't have a spa, but has a big bathtub.” Jeeves told us. I took a quick peek inside. Very nice. Three times bigger than our largest bathroom at home anyway. “Alright, well that's it for inside. We can go outside now,” Jeeves said over his shoulder, making his way quickly down the hall to the stairs. We followed him down them and out the back door, what I saw next amazed me. There were two tennis courts off to the back and to the right of them was a big swimming pool. “Yes, that swimming pool is heated,” Jeeves said, seemingly reading my mind. “Over there is the guest quarters,” Jeeves said, gesturing his hand to the front of and off to the left of the tennis courts. It would have to be a little larger than our home. Right in front of where we were standing was a big water fountain. I could look Koi fish swimming happily around in it.

I give my wife the best of everything that we can afford. I cook clean do laundry take care of the kids offer to pay for her to receive a day at the spa, I would draw her a hot bath toss in bubbles and rose pedals and have candles lit around the tub, bathe her, when she was in the mood for it I would give her oral sex and would not cease until she had a major orgasm, then I would make adore to her every hours of the night, I will do anything for her. Resolved Question: Guys, help me about The Sims 2 please...?
I've been playing The Sims 2 like a year now. I was begging my husband to receive it for me, then finally my husband download it for me through torrent and I had almost anything other than some stuff that I cant have it cause my The Sims 2 is "fake". I had ton of families before than I decided to uninstall every of them and receive the "real" The Sims 2. Then last week I bought The Sims 2 Bon Voyage, The Sims 2 Double Deluxe and Kitchen and Bath Interior Design. And actually I was thinking to buy more The Sims 2 Univerity, apartment life and open for business. Then I just found that I couldnt find a cell phone vending machine !! I was looking everywhere (maple spa, icy issue clothing, etc) still didnt find it. My question are, is there anyone can tell me about this? Also, is that worth if I have to buy each more of expansions packs and stuff packs just for add more the stuff ?? Or should I just download it again from torrent? Which my husband told me to just receive the "real" one, and at least I have to spend like $100 more for every of them.... Last but not least, I tried to use intprop censorgridsize 0 to not censor my sims, but still doesnt work :p I adore The Sims 2 like so much, can anyone tell me about this ?? Since this the only game that entertain me while Im waiting for my husband to receive home after work :p PLEASE...... I am looking to plan a surprise for my bridal party...I'd like to find a spa in the tri state area (nj, ny) who has a mud bath... I know this sounds weird! But we have always wanted to try one of these. It's a bath tub (or something similar) that is filled with "mud" that is infused with minerals & is really good for your skin. Does anyone know of something like this in my area? Or has anyone tried one of these? I'd adore to hear about it. Any recommendations for a spa where a bunch of girls can go for a girls day out?

Resolved Question: Another dream of a bath?
Last night i had again a dream of a bath. This time i was in a spa and before i went to receive a massage i went to soak in a bathtub that was a huge roman bathtub but i was the size of a 5 year old in comparison to this bath. the water had like a soap in it that made it like a solid blue and there were foaming bubbles. the water was a perfect temperature not to hot. and i had to drain out the water at some point and refill the bathtub and that made it even warmer. i felt so relaxed and pampered. what does this mean?

My Mom has it every and buys everything she wants. My Dad is having a difficult time finding a nice Christmas gift for her. Any suggestions? Please no chocolates, flowers, DEFINITELY NO GIFT CARDS, not into spa or bath products, doesn't collect anything specific, she's a plain jane and very specific about purses, clothes, and the like. Thanks for anything you can offer!! She doesn't drink. She's too picky with her clothes and purses that it's not worth it to buy any. She wears the same perfume, uses the same shower products, wears the same makeup; and she's stocked up on everything. It gets harder and harder every year!

I notied a very ornate bridge/tunnel over the railway line when i was traveling from Bristol to Oxford the a while ago. It was located inbetween Bath Spa station and Chippenham and looked old. I'm at a loss for what to buy my stepmother for Christmas. I the past, I've done date nights for her and my dad, but I feel like it's played out. She's in her mid-40's, is big on status, dresses classically, and works as a elementary school teacher. She has very little time on her hands, but does the spa, manicure and pedicure thing...and she lives 300 miles away from me, so it's difficult for me to find a place she might use. I've done the picture thing, I've done the gift basket of bath goods, etc...what do you recommend? I don't want to spend more than around $25 if possible. I need ideas!!

Resolved Question: isn't it well known that companies being bailed out will again miserably fail?
Most of the economy is driven by consumer spending. Consumer spending at this time has arrive to a grinding halt. every retailers and merchants report record low sales. The bailout does absolutely nothing to address the problem of frozen consumer spending. It just gives money to the companies that reported huge losses due to very low sales. Therefore again, these same companies will report huge losses simply because there is no income coming from consumer. They seem to be using bailout money as their possess income. Example is the $340,000 party AIG held and $23000 spa baths. How can the government be so stupid not to realize that the bailout will not move anywhere unless consumer spending increases or job market improving. By ignoring the job market situation and not taking into account no consumer spending, the bailout supporters are showing confidence it will keep the economy. An example is that after the $85 billion bailout, AIG again reported a $25 billion loss. Same thing for Fannie mae and Freddie Mac -- they again reported huge loss despite government takeover. The solution lies in improving the job market, not by giving money to failed companies. General Motors asks for bailout but nobody is buying their cars and even after bailout nobody will be interested in buying. So then why must they be bailed out if they cannot improve their sales?

I know mine. I was making a bath fizzy with a spa kit (total rip off) and I ate it. it was not edible. It tingles and feels like bees stinging ur tongue if u put water on it. Resolved Question: How many of y'all want Calgon to take you away?
For those who don't know what that means, it was a bubble bath commercial where a lady was able to escape her reality in her bubble bath. I am so overly exhausted, both physically and mentally. I haven't lost patience with my kids, but feel like I'm not myself. I keep dreaming of being at the spa getting a massage, facial, and being pampered. Part of me feels guilty because so many moms would adore to stat at home with their kids, and every I want to do right now is escape. Not forever, just for a day. I think I'm gonna tug my hair out. For the past couple of days, I've found myself being short with my husband who is nothing less than wonderful. He works very difficult every day, and lovingly takes the kids when he comes home, and I practically push them at him. Can y'every empathize? Or am I being a brat? Please respond. What do y'every do when you receive this way, if you do?

Voting Question: IS BURNING NORMAL FOR A CLAY MASK?
I bought a new St. Eden Spa facial clay mask and I put it on the other day, but it burned... intensely. I had to remove it immidiately. So is this the product? or my skin being sensitive? I applied it after washing my face and having a hot bath, could it be because my pours are too open? I really want to be able to use the mask, but I dont think I have any alergies. Should I receive rid of this product?

Voting Question: What should I get my stepmother for Christmas?
I'm at a loss for what to buy my stepmother for Christmas. I the past, I've done date nights for her and my dad, but I feel like it's played out. She's in her mid-40's, is big on status, dresses classically, and works as a elementary school teacher. She has very little time on her hands, but does the spa, manicure and pedicure thing...and she lives 300 miles away from me, so it's difficult for me to find a place she might use. I've done the picture thing, I've done the gift basket of bath goods, etc...what do you recommend? I don't want to spend more than around $25 if possible. I need ideas!!

I dont have any kids my boyfriend has 3 but me and my boyfriend have been dating for a while and over the last 2 months we had discussed me finally meeting his oldest two kids 9 and 10 the baby is 3(THEY every LIVE WITH mom EXCEPT THE 9 YR OLD GIRL). ok for starters his daughter is 9 son 10.OK HERES THE ISSUE I live in Chattanooga and he lives in Atlanta.I steer EVERY WEEKEND TO look HIM.now at first we would go to a 5star hotel or suite,romantic dinner and go back to the room and like the weekend!because of our jobs we havent decided where to move together yet,BUT ANYWAYS!I took his daughter to receive her hair done three weeks ago and every since then he asks me to take her somewhere every weekend I DONT MIND because her mom is not around and a daddy just cant handle everything when it comes to a girl.now those romantic dinners and bubble baths have turned into ordering pizza and pulling out the sofa bed for the kids.HE BRINGS THEM WITH HIM EVERY WEEKEND EVEN WHEN HIS SISTER OFFERS TO WATCH THEM FOR THE WEEKEND! A "mud" bath is a very relaxing spa treatement where you receive immersed in volcanic soil and hot spring water and then receive massaged and feel rejuvenated.
