Resolved Question: My familys mixed reaction to my dating habits...?
This Christmas I was with many family members and they every asked if I was seeing or dating anyone and I finally said "what the Hell" and told them the truth. I am a 23 year old male (5th year Senior) who has been dating (for the past 3 years) and now is boyfriends with a guy (ever since I have been away at college). We started dating when he was 37 and I was 21 and now he is 40 years old. He is a pharmacist and very well off. He lives alone in a 5 bedroom 4 full bath home on a golf course with an outdoor pool and spa and he has 2 cars. It bothered me at first that he was so well off and paid for everything (I think he really does like doing it) and I couldn't pay for much. Anyway, people in my family never ask me about my dating or adore life (maybe because I am gay... but I am not sure). So they were asking me what my Summer 2012 plans were and I told them I might be going on a trip. My boyfriend is due 2 months off from work and I have no classes that I can take this Summer. He wants to Take me to France, Spain and Italy this Summer for 2 months. Anyway, half of my family were glad and the other half were not as receptive worried to being pissed off at me going overseas with some "old guy" I had met. Should I just ignore the rude ones? I told one really rude cousin that she had never given a damn or asked about my boyfriend before so I didn't understand why she cared so much. They seem to think he is a pervert or a pedeophile but he is not. He is 40 (true) but he looks about 5 years older than I do now. What do you think?

Resolved Question: good romantic restaurants and place to stay in Melbourne?
Hey guys, i'm in a long distance relationship with my gf and am coming across to melbourne for 4 weeks over January. I want to take her out some where romantic for an evening meal and then spend the evening in a decent not to expense romantic hotel in the city centre. Can some of you please recommend some excellent places to eat (maybe japanese or thai - or a candle lit dinner) and some decent hotels which can be a bit romantic. if the hotel had a bath or spa it woould be excellent. not looking at spending too much as i am still young, but still looking at giving her a memorable experience cheers.

Resolved Question: How can I convince my mom to get the breed I want?
So, my mom said yes to another dog(either medium or big[like, dalmatian sized]), but she will only have either a labrador or a golden. I adore them but I don't want one as MY dog. I'm thirteen years old, but my mom said that when I move out I take the dogs. I don't find it fair that I can't even pick my possess dog breed!! And my mom also said that I'm not allowed to stay at college which is fine, but then I'm going to still be able to care for the dog. I want a weimeraner or dalmation. Not a lab or golden. Yes, they are VERY lovely dogs, but I don't look them as the dog for me and my family. I understand that my mom and step-dad are going to be paying for everything except for some toys and the food every-now and then. And I'm very responsible. Every month, I clean the hamsters cage, give my dog a bath and every-day I brush my dog two times(once in the morning and once at evening), check her food and water, check the hamsters food and water, and I walk my dog three times a day. Also, I do my home-work every-day and the worst grade i ever got was a C+, every-day I do my chores and then in the summer I work for my mom at the spa. And now we're moving and my parents promised me the dog and I have been researching every-day on dog breeds perfect for our family. Sorry I made this so long, but how do I receive the dog breed I want?? Thanks. :D I walk my dog around the block, only because she's so tiny and doesn't like exercising AT every. I also work on my dog with training and such for around a half hour every-day. I want a running and moderately active dog because first off, my mom wants a jogging companion and secondly I want my jogging companion(I don't run with her because she does endurance and I do speed, so really I'm a sprinter. Also I have a 5 year old sister and a 3 year old brother so they dog would have to be kid friendly like a golden... sigh. I adore their personalities but... I dunno. I just don't want to possess one of those breeds.

Voting Question: Booked a 2 week holiday to Turkey (all inclusive) in September for my boyfriend and I. How much spening money?
will we need? I have already searched on Yahoo, but most questions are dated 5 years ago etc and would like a specific answer to my question. We are planning a few excursions, i.e. beach trips, walking around the ruins, boat trips, water sports, turkish bath/spa day etc, but for the majority of meals we will be at the hotel for, and as you can look a couple of trips will be free, so in your opinion, how much would we need for spending money (please state EACH or TOGETHER otherwise this could be confusing). We plan on buying a few trinkets, but not many, and we will both take some plastic for emergency purposes. So, how much? Thanks Hi KV, we are staying in Side, :)

Resolved Question: How do you properly scrub like in a Jjimjilbang/public bath?
A tiny question to every those that have experienced a Korean/Asian public bath (also known as a spa of sorts): I already have an Italy towel/brillo pad, but I would want to know what is the proper method of scrubbing used in Jjimjilbangs. Do I scrub in tiny up and down motions or giant circular motions? What would be the best way to remove dead skin with an Italy towel? Also, if it's not any trouble, can you please tell me what I should do to prepare my skin for the scrubbing? Please share your methods on how to correctly scrub like you would in a public bath! Thank you!

Resolved Question: What to get mom for christmas?
I wanted to receive her something special, but I'm drawing blanks. She likes Harry Potter. A lot. But I can't seem to find any decent merch online, and the "official" stuff at the Warner Bros. website sort of blows. She also likes Bath and Body Works stuff, but I receive that for her EVERY YEAR. I wanted to do something special for her this time. It's really difficult for me to tell what else she likes other than food and watching tv, though, lol. She is a full-time mom with a part-time job, and between that and every the sports my brothers play, and driving me and my brother to work, she doesn't have a lot of time for spa days or anything like that. Especially this time of year. Any ideas? I'm freaking out because I haven't done any shopping and usually mom is the easiest to store for. These suggestions make me feel every warm and fuzzy inside. xD The only thing I can't do are poinsettias because we have cats.

Resolved Question: Can the MoH and BMs dresses and accessories be the "gift"?
I know this probably isn't the best way of doing things, but my MoH and BMs have fallen in adore with a beautiful dress and it flatters every of the girls, and even better yet, every of them agree they could wear it on more than one occasion. The problem comes with the price tag. When you add every of the items they need together (shoes, necklace, bracelet, earrings, and dress) each outfit comes to $579. 68 total (including tax). Luckily, I can afford to buy each girl (I have only 3) the entire outfit, and only have to re-work my budget to make it work (I had already budgeted $400 for their gifts), so I just snipped here and there, and I can certainly make this work. This dress is my girls' favorite by far, and I know they are figuring ways to make it work, but I hate seeing them penny pinch for MY wedding, so I was wondering if their gifts could be that I pay for their outfits? I am not sure other areas' rules on BM and MoH outfits/gifts, but around here - at least every the weddings I've been in and have had friends in, the girls are expected to buy their possess outfits, and the gift is usually a home spa package, or plush bath robe with matching slippers, or even (and yes I did receive this) lingerie! If I go ahead and receive them the dresses and accessories, would that be the "gift"? Or do I need to also budget in a real gift. I don't mind cutting from my budget, because every my girls have been so wonderful to me, but I guess I am a bit of a zilla, because if I could receive away with it I would like to. I am not meaning to be rude or thoughtless, I'm just seriously wondering how this works. Like I said, if I would still need to receive them something it is fine, this question really is mostly to help me work the budget. I am though, 99% sure I'm getting the dresses for them (plus everything else they need for the outfit) because I know they're in adore with the dresses, and don't adore love adore anything else.

Voting Question: What are some good Christmas presents for my mom ? ?
So my mom is kinda difficult to store for . She wears this perfume . So I got her the perfume set that comes with soap n stuff . I tried looking for a store that sells alligator skin purses but they stopped selling them in Macy's . So I'm trying to find the store online . But the thing is I already bought her the 70$ perfume she likes . And the purses are around 300$ each . That's a lot of money ... And I can't buy her pearl or diamonds either for the same reason even thought she probably wouldn't wear them anyways because she already has so much jewelry . She won't use makeup, baskets with soap and bath fizzers, spa gift cards, or anything like that . So I'm clueless on what else to receive her . Don't say that the perfume is enough because it isn't . But those purses are too dark expensive . Sooooo any clues on what to receive her ? Thanks :)

Resolved Question: Good valentines day gift?
I'm sending my girlfriend and valentines day gift in the mail, I'm sending it a few days a head of time to make sure she can open it on valentines day. I'm going to send one big box with a few smaller boxes inside.. The first box is going to say "because you're my sweetie"- and its going to be filled with candies and such The second box is going to say "because you always know how to calm me down"- it's going to be filled with bubble bath and a certificate to the spa The third is going to be called "because you always know how to heat things up"- its going to be filled with massage oils and other sexy things The fourth is going to be called "Because you're mine" and I'm going to frame a picture and put it in there -Any other ideas for a box? -Any suggestions for better names? I know it's cheesy, but we're long distance and we wont receive to look each other for a while, so I do what I can.

Resolved Question: Should I start a senior outpatient bathing service?
I am an occupational therapist and have worked in long term care for the past 15 years. A big part of my job has been helping my patient's find the safest and easiest way to bathe themselves (or have their caregivers assist them safely). Unfortunately, even with the adaptive bathing equipment available, it is still very difficult, scary, and not thorough. Many of my patients will ask, "Can I just arrive back here (to the nursing home) for whirlpool baths after I go home?" Of course, the answer is no. I am considering starting up an outpatient bathing service , where I would have medical grade whirlpool bathtubs and trained bath aids in a spa-like environment. I also envision including beautician services, and basic grooming like toe nail cutting, as well as vital sign monitoring. There MAY be some Medicaid monies available for this service qualified as a "day service," although I'm not 100% sure. Do you feel this is something senior citizens would spend money on...a weekly or biweekly bath in a whirlpool, or do I just have a pipe dream. There are NO other services like this in the country, except for some nursing facilities that do provide this service on a limited basis. Great Britain does have some facilities like this that are mainly government funded, and mine (of course) would not be for the most part. Thanks for your input.

Resolved Question: Looking for affordable day trip to outdoor baths with massage?
I'm looking to spend the day with my partner at the spa. We would like to go to those outdoor baths like heated pools, jacuzzis, etc and would like some sort of massage in between. Can anybody suggest places that wouldn't be too expensive and preferably within the Montreal area? Any up north close Tremblant or ski hills would be ok too. Thanks :)

Resolved Question: Should I buy a home that needs these repairs or not? what do I do?
we found a home we like,in escrow, should close n fund soon, but we have not yet signed last final docs. 2003, beautiful landscaped front and back yard. back yard, is big with, very nice patio n slab, nice sprinkler system. home is 2230 sq ft, 4 bed, 3 bath, with loft and office. needs new carpet, paint, throughout. home needs a lot of cleaning as far as scrubbing bathrooms, windows and floors, garage has lots of mice droppings and kitchen n home has some. the inspection was yesterday and there are some things.....leak in attic at spare bathroom, tiny leak at close water heater vent on top of home, deck in master bed unsafe railing and floor is lil loose, relax were minor such as loose bolts, rusted frame in shower, loose toilets, dryer vent clogged, pipe vent in attic for condensation needs to be cleaned/blow out...they had a spa but it has leaks, and it kept kicking on n off, inspector said we needed to have a someone arrive look n give us an estimate to look if it can be repairable, may be too much to bother with. oh and noticed lots of big spiders in home that were caught on sticky pads we left out a month ago, and a saw a huge live one in the home, spiders are big and scare me too. but i guess terminex or someone like that can take care of that? my feelings are, we adore the area/city....it is on a very nice cul de sac, sits close the end of one, school is walking distance for spring n summer ( 1 mi). we would walk our kids/i would steer other wise, home is not open when you arrive in, like it lacks a family room, formal living lacks dining room. there is just a tiny living area with electric flame place that is open to kitchen, open to the sliding door that leads to the back yard. so you can look kids playing in yard from kit and living room (good). master bedroom tiny, but bath area big, one of my child's room is tiny, plus their bath is super tiny. we have been looking for months, and cannot find a yard that big with privacy, there are nicer homes that are open and have move in ready feel, but neighbors home are close together and most lots are very tiny front n back. in the home we are looking at, we have to put in carpet + paint+ fix repairs here. hubby is very picky on yard tho, likes big yards n privacy. we would have to finance the carpet and repairs. OR we buy a brand new home that are not yet built will be built this spring, we are renters, so no pressure on moving with in a time frame....prices are at top of our budget, a lil smaller, will lack loft and office, school is on other side of freeway, no park close by to walk to, larger living room but No formal, or formal dining, larger kitchen and eating area, may be able to pick lot, lots nice new features such as..... every these premium features arrive standard in The New home at no extra cost. In the kitchen • Granite counter-tops • Euro-style cabinetry with knobs • Whirlpool stainless steel appliances - Energy Star dishwasher - 30” 5-burner gas range - Microwave with built In ventilation • 20 gauge stainless steel sinks In the bathrooms • Integrated sink with cultured marble tops • Vanities with built In drawers • Tri-view style medicine cabinets • Dual flush toilets • Separate tub and shower Mechanical technology • Tankless hot water system • Non-corrosive PEX plumbing • Optimized heating and air conditioning • Home Run electrical harnesses • CAT5 and RG6 cable throughout Premium trim work • Dual pane low-e vinyl windows • Paneled window boxes with casings • Extra tall 3 1/4” baseboard trim • Raised panel interior doors Structural enhancements • 2" x 6" exterior walls with R-21 insulation • Structural sheathing around the entire home • Reflective radiant barrier attic sheathing • 11” R-30 attic insulation • Laser-leveled foundations Outside the home • Electric garage door opener with remote • Vinyl maintenance-free fencing • Lanscaped front yard with xeriscape watering none of these repairs were disclosed and it is a short sale, bank will not pay for repair, due to they have lost over 100k from sellers not keeping up on it. kids tub is tiny not bathroom, they have double sink as well. there is room to "add on" to 2003 home in living room, in future.. out side on side is big to put a extra 20x20.

Resolved Question: What is a fun event/activity to do with my wife for her birthday?
Some details: -She is vegetarian -She likes animals, art, dancing, wine, taking baths, poetry, music. I don't want to go to a show, I want to do an activity with her. We are already going to be having a nice dinner, so this activity would either be before or after dinner (preferably after, but I'm open). My thoughts so far: Dance lesson (would having a one-time dance lesson be worthwhile?) Private cooking lesson (making our dessert) Going to some sort of spa together and getting massages I'd like to hear other ideas, though. I should have added that the weather will be very icy on her birthday, so an outdoor activity like horseback riding probably won't work.

Resolved Question: One minute I'm running and smiling, and the next I just want to break down and cry...?
I'm 13. No period yet. I just don't understand this... I feel like life is so pointless... I took a nice warm spa bath, and I felt better, but just now I feel so... Useless. Is this a sign of a period? I'm not agitated, I'm just upset for no apparent reason. Could this mean that I'm getting my first period? I'm kinda regretting wanting it then.

Resolved Question: How to introduce and sell new Spa & Bath Beauty products to local spa and salon retailers?
My wife now has her Body scrubs, body butters and bath bombs manufactured and ready for sales. Do local spa and salon owners prefer consignment sales with new products like these? I know it presents less risk for the store owner. How does the consignment process work for these types of products and what is a good approach to this process.
